The following project was my MFA thesis at Savannah College of Art and Design. I wanted to develop an attraction for an American West-themed land, that would tell the story of such a land’s native inhabitants in an engaging and entertaining way.
Out of this desire grew my concept for Spirit River Adventure, a boat-conveyed dark ride that explored myths and legends of a cross sampling of Native American peoples. The following images and designs supported a research paper that detailed the process of respectfully approaching a cultural attraction of this kind.
